August 2014 Survey Income

September 3rd, 2014 at 01:23 pm

For the newbies, I'm a family practice physician and get to do a lot of medical surveys, market research, opinion polls, etc. These are not available to the public.

I had a great month in August, earning $1,440, making it my best month of the year. That number was really boosted by a single program I did that paid me $500 which is pretty unusual, but even without that, I would have been at $940 which would have been my 2nd best month.

I was on vacation for almost 2 weeks last month so I'm not sure how much that will impact my September numbers. Time will tell.

    Hey Steve,
I have also been trying to make extra income from medical surveys, though I do not seem to get nearly as many as you- I am lucky to make that much in a year! A week ago, I found another site with which I made over $60 already - at that pace, I might have a better year. It's QuantiaMD, which is an online community for physicians which has many excellent educational presentations and also pays a few dollars here and there for doing contests or participating in discussions (get points convertible to amazon gift certificates)
You get $10 for joining, but only with a referral link, such as this:
    http://secure.quantiamd.com/home?u=dbmxypcqq
Feel free to pass that link along to others as well!
If you have any leads for new sites, please let us know.
    Thanks.

Hi Josh. I've been with Quantia for years so I'm familiar with that one. I am curious how you managed to earn $60 in a week though. It takes me a lot longer than that.

In 2013, I earned survey income from 36 different companies, so there are a ton of them out there. My biggest ones (by amount earned in 2013) were Impact Network, Reckner, Medefield, Sermo, All Global, MDLinx, Universal Survey Center, Communispace, Schlessinger and e-rewards. After that, the amounts start dropping off.

Thanks for the list Steve. I think I am a member of most of those but don't get a lot of surveys.
Regarding quantiamd, I counted my sign up bonuses and I am also counting the higher conversion rate of 1.25 dollars per point if you wait until you have 80 points to redeem.
I recently heard of ozmosis...do they provide survey opportunities?

"I am also counting the higher conversion rate of 1.25 dollars per point"
Even at that rate, that means you earned 40 points in a week plus 8 points worth from the sign up bonus. That's a lot.

    I'm not familiar with ozmosis.

As for the others, I can't say for sure but it seems to me that the more surveys I do, the more invitations I get. I think they sell their lists to one another as every now and then, I'll get an invite from a company I've never heard of and at least a couple of the companies aren't even US-based. The bulk of my income comes from just one company - Impact Network. I made $2,100 from them in 2013 and $1,500 YTD for 2014. They have an ongoing monthly panel that I'm a member of, as well as the occasional extra survey.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for the survey list. I had no idea you can make that much from a single company. Is it also including money from referrals?
