June Survey Total

July 1st, 2007 at 04:09 pm

I get invited regularly to do online medical surveys (I'm a physician). These pay well, though sometimes they are incredibly boring and tedious to do. I always go through phases where I just don't bother doing them, but then I regret it as it is basically throwing away free money.

I've been back on track lately, doing all that come my way.

For June, I received payment for 6 surveys (one or two might have actually been done in May). The total for the 6 payments was $363.00!

Why I ever pass these up I don't know. I've already done a couple of others that I haven't gotten paid for yet, including a $75 survey a few minutes ago. I just have to keep on doing them, no matter how boring they get.

That's great and like you said it is free money except for your time.

Aleta - My time really isn't even an issue as I only do these during free time when I wouldn't be doing anything useful anyway. Rather than vegging in front of the tv or mindlessly surfing the web, I can be making a few hundred dollars a month. In fact, sometimes I'll do them on the laptop while I'm vegging in front of the tv.

I was just referring to the fact that the only thing you have used is your time.

I have figured out lately that doing the surveys could really help pay for the internet; depending on which type that you have. For some people, that could be an incentive to do surveys.

    Anyway, that's still great. Congratulations!

debtfreeme - That's exactly what I was thinking. Of course, the survey invites are somewhat random. One month I might get several. Another month there might be very few. I'll just keep doing the ones I get and enjoy it.

i heard someone once say that the most valuable thing you have is your own time, and it's so valuable because it's free!
