Survey update

November 20th, 2012 at 06:07 pm

Once again, I've been away from the blog for a while. Survey income has still been down partly from being busy, partly from being lazy. Not really lazy so much as exhausted. When I do have the time to do them, I often just want to do something mindless to relax, not something that requires thought and attention.

Anyway, to update my list:

August $636
September $451
October $351

Not terrific but not bad. As always, I'm working on doing a better job and not letting opportunities pass by as much.

Wow! Given your schedule, Synagogue duties, family activities & time devoted to SA you've done phenomenally earning $ 5,390. for surveys with two months remaining. Perhaps reviewing the year for the busiest months and those with the lowest outside activities will help planning for 2013. It's important to set goals but no point to feel disappointed when responsibilities take precedent.

I recall you collect Coke points, are you still doing that too? Good on DD for making college plans. There are an incredible number of smaller awards, bursaries, grants & scholarships that she's likely eligible to apply. It takes time but speaks volumes on resumes and applications for employment.

I do still Coke rewards. One thing that has made that a lot easier is that you can now text in the codes so I'll often do that right away as soon as I get a code. I usually use those points to get coupons for free Coke.

I'm not all that disappointed. I know how busy I've been doing other things. Of course, if not for SA, facebook and a couple of other things, I'd have a lot more free time Smile

I was going to say the same thing as snafu -- the amounts of money that I am seeing here are definitely nothing to hang one's head about! With the amount of stuff on your plate, I would definitely not call you "lazy." If you can make that kind of a difference without overloading an already hectic schedule, then you will have some insurance of positive extra cash flow for some time to come. Nice going, doc...

Thanks, Jerry. I guess "lazy" wasn't really a good description for someone constantly on the go. This week, for example, I have a meeting every night Monday through Thursday and then attend services on Friday. Doesn't leave a whole lot of time to sit around and do surveys and, as I said, when I do have some free time, I often want to do something more relaxing and enjoyable.
