Accidentally banned from forums - HELP

Hi all. I went to check the forums today and a message popped up that I had been banned. I'm sure it was a mistake and I sent a notice through the "Contact Us" link so hopefully they'll fix it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

    That's weird. I don't go to the forums very often, but have never gotten that message. Hopefully you can get it resolved soon.

    I stay on this side of the great divide but yes i'm sure it was a mistake which hopefully will be addressed soon.

    I'm sure it was a mistake. First, I'm a moderator for the forums. Second, I know I did not post anything even remotely controversial or inappropriate.

    Perhaps they meant to ban me but accidentally zapped you instead, both of us being frequent flyers, so to speak. I asked in the comments of a recent article whether Alexa Mason is the same person as Amanda Stewart. One of them wrote the article then the other said, "Thanks for the comment," to the first person to respond. I think our new admins are still figuring out how to use the tools and how they wish to participate on the site. I could see how my question might rankle a new administrator.

    No haven't been banned. I went over there to check and I was just on yesterday. We don't mind seeing you over here though Steve! I hope it is resolved quickly for you.
